Specialty Stainless Steels

N-50

N-50, commonly known as Nitronic 50, is a nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless steel used for higher strength and better galling resistance than common 300 series grades. It keeps strong corrosion resistance while adding useful mechanical margin in marine and chemical systems. EQI supplies N-50 for shafts, pumps, and corrosion-resistant hardware.

  • UNS S20910
  • Nitrogen-strengthened austenitic stainless
  • Also known as: XM-19, Nitronic 50
